Linda at work on a painting that eventually became a Christmas card. At right is the finished painting, the card was done with gilt accents.

In 1966, I graduated from Sir George Williams School of Art but began painting as a child because my mother always had colour laying around the house. Mom was an antique dealer and there was always something being restored at any one time. I come by my artistic talent naturally as mom was also a fine artist and had a wonderful style.

In the 30 plus years since graduation, I have worked in batik, pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, assemblage and collage. I also do linocuts and have made Christmas cards for years. Several of my mixed media paintings were made into Christmas cards and thousands of dozens were sold to raise money for CMT International, the non-profit organization my husband and I ran for people world-wide with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. I have had several one-woman shows and have sold much of my artwork or donated it to be auctioned for good causes.
